8. Roadmap

·3 mins·
Content strategy development is tied to the project’s technical development. No specific timelines are set — the project evolves organically, and the transition between phases is determined by product readiness and accumulated material.

Phase 1: Launch #

Project technical stage: MVP development, prototyping.

Focus: regular content production, material accumulation, building a publishing habit. The blog functions as a working diary — documenting the product creation process, research, architectural decisions, and reflections.

Channels:

  • Blog (RU + EN) — primary channel.
  • Telegram — adapted versions of selected posts, automatic news publications.
  • Word of mouth — manual link sharing.

Primary KPIs (from the metrics catalog):

  • Number of published posts (production metric) — regularity and volume of accumulated material.
  • Telegram subscriber count (G1) — initial audience growth.
  • Telegram post views (G1) — initial response.

Condition for transitioning to the next phase: a sufficient volume of material has been accumulated for a series of articles on external platforms. The project is technically ready for pilot operation.

Phase 2: Expansion #

Project technical stage: pilot operation, technical maturity.

Focus: launching on external platforms. Accumulated material is reworked into a series of articles and published on media platforms — in a concentrated manner to ensure publication regularity and reach a critical mass of coverage and subscribers (target — several hundred subscribers on external platforms).

Channels:

  • Blog and Telegram — continue operating in Phase 1 mode.
  • Habr — technical articles.
  • Zen — philosophical and societal content.
  • Medium — English-language versions of key articles.
  • Telegram — warm-up posts are added: announcements, topic discussions, polls.

Primary KPIs (from the metrics catalog):

  • Subscribers on external platforms: Habr, Zen, Medium (G1) — absolute value and growth.
  • Views and read-throughs of articles on external platforms (G1) — reach and content quality.
  • CTR of links to blog and Telegram (G1) — effectiveness of driving traffic to owned channels.
  • Telegram ER (G1) — engagement growth with the introduction of interactive formats.
  • Number of published articles on external platforms (production metric).

Condition for transitioning to the next phase: a sustainable audience has been established on external platforms. The project is technically ready for production operation and scaling.

Phase 3: Growth #

Project technical stage: production operation, scaling.

Focus: organic audience growth, deepening community engagement, client acquisition. Growth rates depend on the demand and popularity of publications. All distribution channels are operating at full capacity.

Channels: all channels are active, including Discord as a working platform for clients and developers.

Primary KPIs (from the metrics catalog):

  • ER across all platforms (G1) — depth of audience engagement.
  • Project mentions in external blogs, podcasts, channels (G1) — organic spread.
  • Direct client inquiries (G2) — content-to-business conversion.
  • Search engine rankings (G1, G2) — long-term visibility.
  • Issues and PRs from external contributors (G3) — if open source components exist.
  • Discord member count (G2, G3) — growth of the working community.
